Care & Size Guidance

Care & Size Guidance

Ficus benjamina is easy to care for, it only requires bright indirect light, good humidity and consistent temperatures. This plant is sensitive to changes of setting and may drop leaves if moved to a new location, but it should replaced with healthy new growth after some time.

Water when the top few cm of soil is dry to the touch, and make sure the soil never sits in standing water.

Feed in the growing season and be sure not to over water in the darker months. It may be advisable to turn regularly if the sunlight reaches it from one side only, and foliage is likely to burn if kept in too direct sun – for instance when too close to south facing windows.
