Plant Biography
The Euphorbias are one of the largest families of plants, present on all continents except Antarctica, with more than 2000 species and countless cultivars. Euphorbia characias originates in areas around the Mediterranean sea, where it prefers to grow in dry and rocky areas. It does not mind the salty terrains, making it a perfect plant for coastal gardens.

Care & Size Guidance
It is an absolute ‘must have’ plant for the Mediterranean garden, the colour and texture offering almost endless contrast possibilities.
Plant in spring in full sun position. Dead head the plant as soon as the flowers have faded. Cut back hard in winter.
Like all spurges, all parts are poisonous and the milky sap can be irritant.
Well packaged. Very cold day so the plants look a bit weary but so do my existing euphorias which after 13 years are looking tired, I’m hoping the new ones will be a successful replacement.
