Euphorbia myrsinites is a delightful evergreen perennial, with trailing stems clad in neatly arranged silver-grey leaves and crowned with acid yellow flat inflorescences in early summer.
Thriving in full sun and well drained soils, it is especially attractive flowing over the side of a container or raised bed.

Euphorbia myrsinites originates in Southeatern Europe, from South of Italy to Turkey and Crimea.
It is a prostrate-growing evergreen resembling Monkey Puzzle stems sprayed with grey undercoat paint. Typical ‘spurge’ flowers are produced at the stem tips in the spring of their second season.
Soil: Well drained
Soil that does not show much signs of moisture, either visibly or when handled.
Water Requirement: Low
Will grow in a drier position and is unlikely to need regular watering once established.
Maintenance: Low
Minimal skill or input needed beyond the basics, a very independent plant.

Like all spurges, all parts are poisonous and the milky sap can be irritant.
