Plant Biography

Heuchera are a group of semi-evergreen herbaceous perennials from the woodlands in North America that have become extremely fashionable in recent years due to an almost chameleon-like ability to breed a range of foliage tints from red, through purple into brown, then orange and into yellow.

The colour combinations now possible are seemingly endless! ‘Lime Marmalade’ has the most outrageously-coloured, sharply-lobed, ruffled foliage. New growth is a vivid chartreuse that slowly fades to lime green as the season progresses, topped by white flowers on wiry stems in early summer.
