Plant Biography

x Heucherella are hybrids between heuchera and Tiarella and grow as mound forming evergreen perennials. The selected cultivar ‘Sweet Tea’ is one of the more compact growers with maple-like leaves of the most sumptuous earthy marmalade orange colour, shading to a rich plum-burgundy central blotch and veins.

It really is an unbelievable display, as though autumn colour has arrived in spring time! An open spikey-haze of delicate, creamy white flowers are held aloft on wiry stems during spring and early summer. Leaves take on even richer tints in autumn.
