Phormium ‘Sundowner’

A robust and highly colourful New Zealand Flax hybrid of erect habit, with spear-like leaves in dark bronze-green edged with outrageous coppery pink-red margins and often fading to apricot, cream and green. Best grown in full sun with good drainage, it also works brilliantly as an evergreen container specimen and can eventually reach around 1.5m.

‘Sundowner’ is hard to beat as a focal point, or why not pick out one of the colours to repeat elsewhere in the border.
